The head of state conducted a visit to address defense personnel in the eastern front on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he consulted soldiers at the military base of the initial brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately 20km from the city.

Volatile Circumstances in the Area

Geospatial data from a local initiative revealed that opposition armies had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it remained beyond firm control by either side. The situation remains critical, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were establishing defenses and building up positions in some districts.

Russian forces are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and are reportedly acting with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.

Military experts noted that national troops had freed a large area of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya front, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk operation.

Ukrainian Drone Strikes Inside Russian Territory

Ukrainian long-range drones attacked an industrial plant approximately 1,300km inside Russia at Sterlitamak. City administration reported an explosion at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that resulted in structural damage to suffer damage, adding that the cause of the explosion was not known. The national defense command stated there was considerable damage to the plant.

Ukraine's military reported hitting a fuel processing plant at the location in the federal district to the east of the capital. The extent of the damage was being assessed. The territorial leader verified an assault by 20 drones near Kstovo.

Zelenskyy's Appeals for Allied Help

The national leader urged the US to continue considering to providing Ukraine with long-range weapons. Appealing to European leaders from the eastern front, the Ukrainian president also called for more international restrictions on the federation – including on fuel and power segments – and said he sought accession to the union before 2030.

Foreign Assistance and Foreign Policy Developments

The federal republic plans to increase defense support to the eastern European country by €3bn next year to about a significant sum, the finance ministry in the capital said on Tuesday. This comprises, among other things, cannons, aerial vehicles, protected carriers and the exchange of missile defense equipment.
