Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
